In the 45-year tradition of Sifu Paul Chan, as Canada's First and Oldest Traditional Wushu / Kung Fu School, Hong Luck’s instructors strive to preserve and promote traditional Chinese martial arts (wushu) and lion dance in the Toronto area…and beyond.

Adrian Balca
With Hong Luck for approximately fifteen years, Adrian is a senior student and has instructed intermediate and advanced classes for approx. three years. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems, primarily focused on technique application, self defense, and san shou - he is a 2005 Canadian National San Shou Gold Medalist. In addition, he regularly demonstrates san shou and hei gong (hard qi gong) techniques at Hong Luck events. Currently, Adrian teaches the Friday evening Advanced/Sparring classes and Wednesday evening Women’s Self Defense classes.

Dan Fenton
With Hong Luck for approximately six years, Dan is a senior student and has instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for approx. two years. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems. In addition, Dan demonstrates hand and weapons forms, as well as hei gong (hard qi gong) techniques, at Hong Luck events. Dan also has nineteen years experience in other martial systems, and three years experience as a shiatsu therapist.

Jan Chow
With Hong Luck for approximately six years, Jan is a senior student and has instructed beginner and intermediate classes for approx. one year. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems with an emphasis on san shou and technique application. Currently, Jan teaches the Sunday afternoon beginner classes. He also has additional years experience in other martial arts.

Jerry Hum
With Hong Luck for approximately ten years, Jerry is a senior student and has instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for approx. six years. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems, primarily focused on self defense techniques and their application.

Julian Diego
With Hong Luck for approximately eight years, Julian is a senior student and has instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for approx. three years. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems. In addition, Julian demonstrates hand and weapons forms, as well as hei gong (hard qi gong) and self defense techniques, at Hong Luck events.

Kheng Tang
With Hong Luck for approximately eight years, Kheng is a senior student and has instructed beginner and intermediate classes for approx. two years. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems. In addition, Kheng demonstrates hand and weapons forms, as well as self defense techniques, at Hong Luck events. Currently, Kheng teaches the Wednesday evening Women’s Self Defense classes.

Quang Thang
With Hong Luck for approximately nine years, Quang is a senior student and has instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for approx. six years. He continues training in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems, primarily focused on technique application and san shou. In addition, Quang demonstrates hand and weapons forms, as well as hei gong (hard qi gong) and san shou techniques, at Hong Luck events. Currently, Quang teaches the Tuesday evening beginner classes.

Toby Reid
With Hong Luck for approximately six years, Toby is a senior student and has instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for approx. three years. He continues to train in the Choi Lee Fut and Do Pi systems, primarily focused on hand and weapons forms and self defense techniques. He also has additional years of experience in the internal Chinese martial arts which he continues to study and practice. Currently, Toby teaches the Thursday evening Beginner classes and Monday evening Intermediate/Advanced classes.
